NAU Salgados Golf Course

This beautiful 18-hole course, located next to Salgados Beach and the Natural Reserve of Lagoa dos Salgados, is the perfect option for nature lovers. The area and the course itself are a shelter for a variety of bird species, some of them in danger of extinction.

Salgados is quite a technical course, ideal for the more experienced player. With lots of water hazards, onshore breezes, and little vegetation, it is also a course that is quite open to the elements. Due to these factors, hole number six is considered one of the most difficult in the world.
